# About me
Artist Sandra Nott , grew up in a small village in a farming community. Her early years living in the countryside helped to give her a particular interest in the natural world and she showed an early aptitude in art. This was greatly encouraged at her primary school and continued to a lesser extent into secondary education.She went on to college and trained to become a dental assistant. She married in 1993 and has two children, now in their teens. Although Sandra found her job rewarding she felt she wasn’t completely happy and wished to rekindle her earlier love and passion for art.
To this end she found a local art group Whitecroft Studio started by international artist Donna White. This reignited her passion for art and Donnas encouragement, enthusiasm and inspiration has helped to give Sandra the confidence to embrace the art world.
Sandra enjoys painting abstracts, landscapes and wildlife/pets.
