i don't know about the american one, but i know a few kindergarten teachers that work way to much.
there are a few here that let you leave your children till the end of the day.
the only thing we did when i was in kindergarten was watch educational cartoons/shows, draw, eat lunch, take a nap, try to write something and then we wait till our parents picked us up.
