Honestly, I don't believe it would make difference.. just like his "career" as vilain in Gotham started anyway, independent of Batman or the other villains, he would be a villain in any other place. Sure, after some time in Arkham, he could be declared "mentally sane", but... how long this would last? Until he finds another "Alice"? Or anything else that could trigger his madness? Idk, kinda complicated this question.,, ^^'
