Hello! I have a question! I have a snow leopard that I would like have in this group. I've noticed that some of the clans aren't accepting that breed except the Lighting Empire. In theΒ "Member Character Lists" journal under Lighting Empire, it says to look at the opening journal. I seem to have trouble looking for it. Can you please help?

The locked species etc for this opening can be found here . It looks like only Ice, Stone, and the Bounty Hunters are accepting snow leopards right now.

I have a question about ranking up
Are the admins going to give the member a notice that "by next gathering if ---- is not ranked up they will get a strike" or is it just going to be a random "strike because I feel like they should be ranked by now"?
Can you please let us know the ages/timing expected to reach the next rank for each corresponding empire? It is a bit vague. I was under the impression it was normally around 1 year old max that they should rank from cub to apprentice, and up to the age of 2 and 1/2 to 3 years old that they need to be ranked from apprentice to gladdie?

It will depend of the leading admin, but most admins agree and won't force promote characters unless the member has been inactive for six months and the character is a year over the "min" promotion age for that rank. (Aka 8 months for cubs, and 2 years for apprentices.) No matter what the admin's age decision, you should get a note from that admin notifying you of the upcoming force promote prior to the gathering where they are promoted.Β

Questions~! on the openings for EBC, are they current? I know it may have been a bit since some empires have updated is all... I was looking into either making a Β snow leopard cub for Air Empire if the cub spot is open, OR aΒ Β snow leopard gladiator for Shadow Empire, if open.Β Β

The openings are current, so you should check the group opening journal on the actual group for what restrictions and positions are left. And for your adoption tryout, we wait a week after the first tryout to make sure that everyone has a fair chance to apply for that character. You should hear back in a few more days if it's been accepted.Β
As as a side note, it would be easier if you noted the group itself with any questions that you have. Comments are too easily lost, especially with the big plot that is coming up.Β

The week timeline is solely for adoptions. When applying during an opening, the time you wait is dependent on how busy the admin or mod of that Empire is.Β

I didn't want to comment on the adoption deviation, just in case. I wanted to ask if they costed money, or do you just get the characters for free? Or do you already need to be in EBC to adopt?

Adoptions don't cost money nor do you have to be a part of EBC in order to gain the character. You just have to try out and you have to roleplay them EBC. These characters cannot be removed from EBC to become your own personal OC.
