# About me
Current Residence: UtrechtI'm a professional Dutch comic artist and animator with a passion for drawing, storytelling and boys' love! ^_^ As a freelancer I work on animation projects (some for Dutch TV), and several comic titles. I have had publications in Dutch and German comic magazines and anthologies (like EPPO, Strips2Go, COMIX, Fireangels) and currently the first completed cycle of 4 albums of my Franco-Belgian adventure comic series WARD is out! So yay! Do check it out ^_^
I originally intended this gallery solely for my old en new boys' love work, but having multiple accounts is such a hassle, so I decided to place the entire variety of my works on this account. From old to new, from 18+ to regular family friendly adventure comics, it'll all be here in time.

A classic european styled adventure comic that follows the strained Kessel family on their perilous sailing trip around the world. After being stranded and separated on a mysterious and hostile island they receive help from a stranger called Ward, who tries to reunite them and lead them into a safe haven. During their intricate travels questions arise. Will their ship ever set course for home again and who is this Ward person anyway?
STREETS OF EUROPE (serialized in Strips2Go -NL- and Comix -DE-)
A manga-meets-european styled comic that follows to two ex-agents on the run from their own secret organisation at the backdrop of a crumbling post-crisis Europe. Beautiful and young Claire has secrets to hide, while veteran assassin Chris is caught up in the middle of her problems. There's something in the air, it seems. But is it love? Or gun fire smoke?

Coined is a BL themed super hero comic about an homeless ex-super villain caught between his old life and lover on one side and his new life as the trainer of a wealthy newbie hero on the other. The only problem is that said hero wants to buy not only his services but his love as well. All this is set in Samaritan City, a place overcrowded with gifted people and the bureaucratic agencies that try to regulate them. There's humor, drama, m/m romance and the occasional talking cat.

>DO ALIENS DREAM (of Green Sheep) is an older bl tinted sci-fi comedy about a scruffy inventor and the intergalactic matchmaker he accidentily ordered through his radiotransmitter. Ohhhh it's such a cold winter here in Southern California this year.... well... as far as snowless coastal winters go haha It's just been one wind and rain storm after another here and that's not something we Californians are used to to be honest. We live in a sort of arid area with little rainfall during the year, so this winter has been very cold and very wet so far haha But it's also made it a very green and fresh season which is a nice change from the usual brown, burnt leaves haha I hope you had a fun holiday and have a great new years

It only snowed very little over here in the Netherlands (today a bit even), it's always nice to see when you're cosy indoors ^_^ trains often have a lot of trouble with it though and I rather not venture out myself when it's icy. Lot of howling winds lately, my work room as on the corner of our house so I hear it a lot and I quite like it ^_^ sounds so spectacular!
Thanks for your sweet wishes ^_^ I'm not working on new projects, but I'm continuing old project - Currently it's mostly the new volume from comic book series Ward, it'll start running in a dutch comic magazine next week so, that will be most of what I'll be doing for the rest of the year. I hope to have some time free working on my private projects (and Coined amongst them) in the evenings after March when the pressure of the start up has gone down and I finished a short animation project as well. We'll see how well it goes ^_______^

haha it's funny you say that. I've actually found I quite enjoy the sound of rainfall where I live now, seeing as my room is on the second story of the house I'm staying at, my window faces away from the sun most of the year but directly towards the rain so the pitter patter puts me to sleep very easily. (Course when the chimney starts whistling from the wind then I start getting anxious haha)
I must admit I do envy your talents a little. You have such a unique style that's really evolved beautifully over time. Your comic style is so intriguing I get so wrapped up in enjoying the littlest features

Cool, you're from the new Sinbad's Trail comic? I saw an advertisement of that over at Teahouse in the comment section ^_^ It's nice to see you undertaking such a demanding setting. With my comic series Ward I'm working with nautical themes and those type of backgrounds take forever ^_^ where do you do your research and what software do you use?

Oh yeah man the setting is really ridiculous for the comic ; A ; the backgrounds take SO long for me to do but they are also super relaxing too!
I go to Connecticut to take lots of reference pictures of things I need- Like big ships and docks and stuff! (I live in New York) It gives me an excuse to go visit the ocean though and get lots of reference pictures!
