# About me

I started off doing airbrush work on cars and motorcycles as a youth. Then got into cartoons and illustrations. Most of my digital work is photo manipulation from various pictures I have taken at car and bike shows over the years. Plus a couple from old advertising leaflets. Always experimenting with every sort of medium from pencil to oils with the odd pastel thrown in.Sometimes these are scanned into the computer and reworked to either soften the effect or make it harsher. I like to take a photo and remove the smoothness and replace it with textures. I end up with a sort of 'unplugged' digital piece.
I use inkscape and paint and sometimes PSP. Some pictures have of all three programs used to get the effect I am searching for.
