# About me

I began photography almost thirteen years ago with an old manual camera and a role of black and white film, which saw me often lose many hours of my days and nights in the college dark room bringing my photos to life. As life got in the way my photography took a back seat until recently with the gift of my Nikon D80 and Photoshop I have had my passion reignited. I love to be able to capture the soul, essence and character of what I am photographing. One of my passions evident in my art work is my dogs which, often sees me “dog showing” on weekends where I am available for ‘showing’ and portraiture shots.

As a qualified Social Worker by day, photography has now more than ever become an outlet, hobby and addiction for me.
