really? that was in the 3rd game (with conner), I remember i passed it and I witnessed it with my own eyes that he just died from some ystic-electric bozo shock. n' i was like, "....ehhh, fo'real?" 
n' it was in vein too, some like two spirits as women where arguing with each other one was telling him not to sacrifice himself while the other told him too. 
I knew the one that was telling him to sacrifice himself was a hidden-bitch. so which made me think, how will they make then next games then? 
turns out its gonna be "you" (the player/gamer) as first person in black flag.

you remember when you didnt like Desmond at first? he seemed "fake" to you? dont know if you remember that

Shh! I remember! *whispers* and now I like Desmond.... but I still don't really see him as an assassin. He doesn't have the traditional assassin garb so.... yeah.

Oh yeah! One was telling him not to give up his life and what not. It was like really lame the way he died. I think I remember something about he was something called a 'First Generation', one that hadn't been seen in hundreds of years? Or something. Anyways, what's the point of his special ancestry IF HE DIES BY TOUCHING SOME ELECTRIC THINGY?!!?! I mean, it should have saved his life or at the very least resurrected him...
