Hiya Fang, just wanted to say I'm very happy to hear that I've inspired someone as brilliant and talented as yourself.
I was very surprised to see the preposterous amount of feedback notifications when I logged on today until I read your very endearing and beautifully written comments. I was even more surprised when I read that a couple of poorly made videos and monster designs from almost a decade ago were your sources of inspiration. So thank you very much, Fang, for your kind words. I appreciate it!
That said, I don't particularly mind if people imitate my work, especially if proper credit is given, so feel free to use whatever layout you like. I'll look forward to seeing your sprites

Hi Enami! I first discovered your sprites when I was around 11 years old and it inspired me then to create my own PokΓ©mon scratch sprites! Last week I managed to re-discover and salvage some of my sprites from that time from my old laptop before it short-circuited and I remembered your sprites again. A few days ago I had a look at your Senrai Reigon 4# and your speedsprite (I don't think that's a work but okay XD) video of Kwaichou (the first video I watched of yours), because those where like the two videos which where my staples to inspire me to do some spriting. One of the best re-discoveries I made on my Laptop was three scratch starter PokΓ©mon sprites (they are funny and cute because they're pretty amateur-ish), which I put in the same format as the PokΓ©mon on your Senrai videos with the box around them. I even tried to copy as best I could the shape of your arrows and question marks for the evolution line-because I was inspired and liked your art so much. I remembered me thinking as an 11 year-old: "I'm going to do it like ShadowsSword!" haha. I simply adored (and still now) your starters and how creative they are! (Your Sun/Moon inspired bug divergent evolution lines also still drive me wild!)Β
It's been great to discover your account here on DA and discover some more sprites you've done and updated sprites for PokΓ©mon in the Senrai Reigon (Though I think Senrai 4# will always be my favourites, for how much they inspired me back then).Β
I think you are really imaginative and I admire how creative you are-and, as always, your spriting skills are amazing! When going back to find you on YouTube I felt really sad that I had to dig quite a bit to find your videos (probably because of the new algorithm :') -because you are so talented! I think the creativity of your PokΓ©mon designs was one of the first things that made me really enthusiastic about character design.
I'm very sad to hear that you recently lost some important files. I wasn't able to get the important files I wanted from my Laptop (since I was distracted by my PokΓ©mon material on there XD) so I feel you. It's sad to think that they are gone forever, and I'm especially sad to hear that they're going to hold back your next Senrai project because it's painful to loose something you worked so hard on.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and thank you for creating and inspiring 11 year-old me! I'm going to be re-designing the three starters I mentioned (The most promising at the moment is a Pirate-Spinosaurus Dark/Water evolution line) and making coloured art of them as well as uploading the old sprites I found on my Instagram page. (I guess I could also upload them here on DA but they're very old... XD). So I guess if you wanted you could check them out! I'll of course talk about you and say that the reason I put them in their layout is because I was so inspired by your videos. Β
