I hope so. It's apparently difficult to find a fitting job in my area. It seems like there's the National Guard, the Red Cross, and then you're getting into government organizations like FEMA.
That'd be great! If there's anyone you'd recommend starting out watching...one of the Claire's, maybe?

Absolutely; no rush. Take your time, enjoy, and of course I always invite any nitpicking. I feel like you would have taken this fic and done 100 times better with it. I learned a lot, and I think the fic came out good, but not nearly as good as it would have in the hands of someone who really knows what they're talking about.

Alex - Juno
Albert - Jupiter
Claire - Water Nymph
Spencer - Saturn
Mars - Uroboros
Vulcan - T-Phobos + Uroboros infected B.O.W.s like the "Vulcan Blubber" in REV2.
But Alex and Claire will eventually reach some form of forgiveness. Eventually. They are actually quite similar.

My manager and I got into a argument over this the other day. He was telling me that only the managers can call an ambulance, perform first aid, etc. I told him that I would go around, over, or through him if I saw someone injured/dying to help them (rather than wait for the managers if they weren't nearby, I mean- not that I'm going to push them out of the way or something). Same thing with an attacker. I'm not going to pull my cell phone out and record it, that's for sure- there's enough people out there willing to let bad things happen and not lift a finger to help.
Seems like tumblr comes up formatted odd on my screen. Only some accounts, though. Like the screen is panned too far to the right or something. Huh. That's odd.

Speaking of Rev 2, I've only played about half the game at this point, but I can see some things I like and don't like, and some neutral points:
Negative
-Claire's VA (bland, you're right)
-Claire's character changes (Not as bad as I anticipated, but still bad)
-Not being able to access inventory without pausing (that really screwed me a couple times now)
Positive:
-The controls in general (specifically, the dodge mechanic is fairly well done imho)
-The general feel of the game (tight, darkness, creepy imagery)
-Interesting to learn about TerraSave
-The soundtrack (mostly positive, anyway. I have a few qualms, but it seemed like effort was actually put in)
-Raid Mode, in general, is fun.
Neutral:
-Claire's new look (I like her with auburn hair better)
-The story (There's good and bad to it. Largely predictable, as you said)
-General gameplay (Considering RE5/6/ORC, there were good steps in the right direction here. There's not a ton of button mashing, no ridiculous car/helicopter/bus chase scenes. There's a handful of puzzles ((not on par with "classic" RE, but again, an improvement).
I don't know how much of the positive is me being such a huge fan of Claire's, or how much of it is because I didn't set the bar high for the game to succeed.

Oh no, that's no good. I can understand what you mean - those standard guidelines are bloody crap.
As for that - the pages are coded preferably for Google Chrome or Firefox on default zoom - on mobile apps they load up too far off to the right. Might need to zoom out by one or two? A friend of mine also has a couple of OCs - deadeas.tumblr.com - so you can see that we are OC friendly too!
Oh, the character things - come back to me when you finish the game. Capcom utterly fucked up numerous chunks of the script, including practically all of Alex's script!
You'll hit more puzzles in the later two chapters, trust me.
We went to Osaka, that was fun, came back to Tokyo - I sadly didn't get to do the Biohazard stuff at Universal Studios as they were scumbags and didn't run the event on the day they had marketed that they would! >
Bought quite a bit of stuff in Akihabara - found and scored an MGS3 The Boss Hot Toys figure for ONLY $75 boxed! Bargin!!

lol, you should have seen the manager's face. He clearly isn't used to someone barking at him like that, because he shrunk about six inches. I can get another job if they wanted to fire me for something like that. I've got my conscious and convictions to wrestle with, and they mean more to me.

I was pleasantly surprised by a lot of the game. But the script as a general rule...not so much. Doing away with the vehicle chasing and ceaseless button mashing of RE6 was great; fixing the dodge mechanic from Rev was good. And I have to say, the partner dynamic wasn't the horror I anticipated.
I'm looking forward to the puzzles. The fact that any at all were included is a step in the right direction.

If my Claire and I go over our script translations, the game isn't actually that bad script wise - it's just that the English script has a lot of fuck ups in it, the only real improvement is Natalia (in Japanese she practically says nothing) and a couple of RE1 cracks regarding Barry.
Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 have numerous puzzles, you will be pleased with them - I was but I also had a head-start to figure things out due to knowing the in-game files early on!
They didn't even run the full Biohazard cafe, they tossed everything into one of the pre-existing cafes and then they didn't provide the full menu. :/
Ah, I would take photos of that but my husband took that one and a bunch of games I picked up to the US, I'll nag him for photos.

What else is new? How these scripts get botched so bad from Japanese to English is beyond me. It doesn't honestly seem that hard to translate more or less directly. Every time I've tried to explain a Japanese language nuance to somebody who has never studied it, I can find a direct similarity in the English language. Granted, culturally it's more difficult imho, but I digress...
I will admit, that stupid door trap in the factory in Claire's chapter 3 got me the first time. One of those things where banged my head against the wall because of my own stupidity -_-' I was seeing a lot of little throwbacks to original RE games- Barry's lines, needing an eyeball for a retinal scanner, etc.
Now that's incredibly irritating. I think Japan would still be quaking from the temper tantrum I would have thrown. Sorry to hear that
