# About me
About MeI am a dreamer. There is a world in my imagination I live to share, and I am happiest when I work on making my dreams a reality.
My primary and most personal project is titled "Helpless". I have been constructing the story and characters for as long as I can remember. I can't tell my own story without telling that of Helpless' characters as well. That project is the reason I am here, and I am making it my life's work to complete it.
That project is at the root of evey important decision I have ever made.
I graduated highschool in 2015. After a lot of worry and thought, I finally decided to pursue my passion, and devote the rest of my life to my art and stories.
Erlance
Erlance is an alias meant to preserve my privacy.
There was a long period of time when I didn't upload my artwork anywhere, because it was often too personal. What I was comfortable with, I later uploaded under my real name on various social media platforms, but I stopped after a year. The best of my works are too personal to me, and make me too vulnerable. However, those are the works I enjoy most, and I wanted to be able to share them. That is why: Erlance.

Your view on helplessness is... wrong. It isn't just a state of mind.

And my view on helplessness is fairly complicated, and I'd love to discuss it further with you per note if you like. To summarize, though, there are definitely different categories. For example, kids that are victims to civil war are most likely not helpless by their own choice, so it most certainly is not their state of mind. In the case of my story, however, it's the type of helplessness that you bring upon yourself when you victimize yourself in your surroundings, and pity yourself. It is more mental than phsyically being caught in a war that you can't help. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on it, though!
