Hi! I’m Mary-Ann. Nice to meet you! I'm a freelance web and graphic designer based in Houston, TX.I build WordPress websites from design to deployment. I also work on editorial and print design, like ads, PDFs, presentations, and sales sheets.
I’m all about the process and I care deeply about craft. To me, the journey of creating a great design or website is just as (if not more) fulfilling as releasing the end product out into the wild.
I use WordPress to build websites. I love to push the platform to its limits with customized solutions utilizing custom post types, custom taxonomies, and unique layouts.
I’m a huge advocate for unobtrusive user experience and users’ right to privacy, and I’m not afraid to push back when a request or decision is detrimental to the end user’s needs and experience.

Your signature brought me here. I just wanted to say that the Mr. Krinkle music video is severely under-appreciated. I think it's absolutely amazing that they were able to get all of that to happen in one continuous shot without any cutting, and in one take.

Thank you! And yes, it's such a shame that it's so under-rated. When it first came out, MTV only aired it a handful of times and that broke Les's heart because he had put his all into the video. Even his wife and her twin sister made an appearance.

In Los Angeles. I don't recall the name of the venue. They were the headliners, it was part of a tour after they released Green Naugahyde. I bought a T-shirt with an astronaut monkey smoking a pipe, and some Primus rolling papers.

The band I was regarding in that forum post was Marilyn Manson, but I didn't want to pinpoint the whole argument (hating on things without having tried to understand them is kind of stupid) on that one band.
That's also why I am not telling you the name over there, but over here.
