Haven't heard the Drake song, but I thought Chris Brown's song was beautiful. Isn't it great that people still remember her? I'm sure Aaliyah would've loved that.

I believe there is some kind of deadly curse called the 25th day curse because:

Lisa Left Eye Lopes from TLC died on April 25th

Aaliyah died on August 25h: the youngest singer at age 22

James Brown died on December 25th - FREAKING CHRISTMAS DAY!

Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died on June 25th - the MOST shocking deaths of this decade.

isn't that weird ? so beware the 25th day curse my friends. hold on to your music idols very close and pray that nobody dies on the 25th day of any month.

I was 11 years old when she passed away and looking back now, I feel so stupid not knowing this great music artist's existance because back then I was stupidly addicted to nintendo and sega video games and mindless anime cartoons! I really miss out on goods things back in the late 90's before 2001 showed it's horrible face!

I never had a chance to enjoy Aaliyah back then when she was alive and in her prime :( (Sad) and believe it nor not, I just discovered Aaliyah throught youtube last year and I was took by suprise at how amazing she was.
