Also... sorry, I check the work again and yeah... the shoulder guard is not the correct one lmao, that's...a MAJOR shoulder guard. 
The Second Lieutenant suppose to not have that straight line on the edge. Just n shaped line. First Lieutenant will get a diamond shaped button, and another one on captain's. The major would looks like one in the drawing ^^

Well I think you should try with some simple sketch first, just anatomy only. And sometime you find something look good, you should do a quick sketch. It's really help, in my opinion. That's how I practice, too. Ahaha I spent most of my time in class sketching everything I found interesting in my notebook!!!

Well... I want to draw for living innocent high school graduates' dream. You know, do what you love and get paid for it ^^ and reality crashed on you when you have to work your ass for deadline and also they didn't pay you for OTso yeah...

It's way more expensive because quality of paper they use and also the life expense is much higher than Indonesia, one book around 8.5$ not to mention the translation quality is also bad T_T Sadly the one I read from online reader is much better...
And nope, I can't read Chinese...

I notice since I start reading online... and yeah, very expensive for Indonesian student. The translation is not really off but compared to what online you can tell the one from VIZ or other publisher feels awkward. Then again all online translator always tried their best and more dedicated to get the translation sounds right. ^^ Really, we have to thank translator like you to give us a chance to read manga in english ^^

I would love to return to Indonesia, really! But first I have to finish my degree -.-' Singapore and its stupid policy to separate diploma and degree~

I wish I could learn it years ago~ I am planning to learn Chinese now, and maybe one day I will start on Japanese...

Any KNB fans without an iota of understanding for Chinese and Japan would Kei, it's just some people didn't bother to voice or outright take the translation for granted. I kind of get the feeling of not appreciated for your effort for fandom. I never translate but when it comes to my fanart, there was a period where I watermark my artwork (ALL OF THEM) when I realize people download my pic over thousand times but the fave only around seventy something. My concern is where is that artwork they download go and what they do to itwhich make me quite paranoid for a while... until I take a leaf our of my fellow artist' book and set up some rule for artwork use. I don't know about you but some translator is really possessive protecting their translation and how they share it.

Learning Chinese would take a whileespecially at my age. I sounds so old ha ha habut learning reading Chinese would be much longer... -.-' ho ho ho
It's nice to go international but in the end you will love Indonesia more than anywhere else.

XD But looking back again, I have less downloads at my uselessly big pics than my easier to download lighter smaller res, I guess? Err... not bragging, I have been here for three years so that much is not amazing. The number of fave for fanart also depends on what fandom you are drawing for, if it's a still small fandom like KNB you won't expect a lot of fave in few months, but big fandom like Naruto also not easy considering how many good artist dwelling in that fandom. I draw mostly for Saint Seiya and Vampire Knight which quite sizable fandom but the fans are not as picky ^^
It also help with how many group feature your work and number of watchers you have, number of fave is all about publicity here As you see original work I have only faved around 5 or so... especially I am lazy to color them. So yeah, more fave means more publicity and you will be surprised how many group asking for permission to feature your artwork, because they live on members who are too lazy to search nice work by themselves.

Laziness, some fans are too lazy to thank contributor you know? At first I don't mind about it like you but then I started to worry since a number of artist around two years ago were having "say no plagiarism" campaign (something like that) including my friends warning me about people who misuse our artworks. Let's say we are not happy and start browsing around to catch these thiefs, which not much we could do, mind you... it's pretty awkward when chatting in MF forum, one of artist and translator I respected barging into discussion to say
"I don't give permission to use my artwork for avatar to you, please take it down. Thank you." So yeah...
This person gives PLENTY of warning in all fanart she made but it happens still~

Dunno about free learning, definitely not in SG for sure~

Don't worry, I'm just halfkidding. Vampire Knight, hahaha, I'm in it too, but it was before my time in DA, so.. yeah. XD I don't know if I uh, ever want publivity... Getting exposed, is kind of scary somehow, in my mind. I'm not that worthy too. But only sharing to a circle of friends is kinda... narrow too, so maybe I'm still looking for the best arrangement that makes me feel most comfortable, I guess? XD

Ouch. I... yeah, that would be very awkward. In fact, if the artist said that to me, I'd sulk and self-deprecated myself for about a week before could go on my normal self. Sometimes online reputation is more, IDK, hurting than real life? Sometimes.

Plagiarism/using other works to be renderred or even scanlated (in manga scanlation group) is a very much gray area for me. I appreciate the original artists, but I also want them to be reachable by me, in the language I understand, and in a price I can pay, which is not usually the case, most of the times. I'm still splitted in this kind of discussion. Ripping someone else's work to be publicly admitted as your own is a pure big shame, though. No question on that one.

Considering you can point out "Kuroko has created a new monster" in the manga chapter discussion, I'd say your learning has bear some useful fruits~ * v *)/

Nah, publicity in here is not really bragging or anything that make you uncomfortable... it's just group will ask permission to feature your work and that's it.

I get that feeling ^^ but when you are the artist sometimes you will throw subtlety out of the window and ask to put down your stuff with no compromise. We artist are not heartless about sharing, in fact that artist I told you is very nice... ^^ she is just strict with her policy. She allows people using her stuff as long as they ask first, but since her art is pretty well known people is using her stuff without permission sometimes. If you are in VK I am sure you know Sagakure ^^ she is the main translator and scanlator for VK.
My policy as artist more or less the same as hers, as long as people ask and tell me what they are going to do with my artwork, give me some credit, I am fine with it ^^
Plagiarism... when it comes to translation or scanlation to be honest I wonder myself if it's wrong using someone else's since the purpose of doing it is to share it with fellow fans. I think it should be no problem as long as we get permission and support the original artist with buying the book. But some people is just so stingy DX

Ah, that one... someone from mangafox forum told me... I can't read anything yet I know Himuro is crying and admitting he is jealous of Kagami though. And that Murasakibara really say he want to quit trying or something like that then point out that Himuro is also trashed by Kagami

Oh, yeah, of course I know Sagakure! (Well, not personally, but there was quite some time that I stalked her quite often.) Yeah, maybe I need to have that kind of principal, set my own standards and rules. Frankly, I'm not famous enough to worry about that. XD Ah, troubles in paradise~

IKR? Well, maybe I am one of those stingy fans too, I'm not entirely clean. XD But recently, I've been buying ones that I really love/want to support, since, well, if they died/couldn't get money from this, we wouldn't get our entertainment either, right? That would be horrible. I really want to support mangakas that I love, but what about the... yaoi mangas, for example? Buying overseas is really pushing it, so no matter how guilty I feel from reading them for free online, I still do it.

Nah... I am not that famous either but people still downloading your stuff and you still have to worry at any rate for plagiarism.

I only buy what I like too... buying overseas stuff is expensive, so no matter how much I would like to support them, we have limited budget In Indonesia my manga is plenty enough to fill a library, but here in SG I have no room for it.

I think the Japanese one is already out somewhere... today is already Sunday after all. I checked Spoil manga but not there yet... maybe tomorrow? SG people in mangafox can read Chinese but they only give brief summary...
KNB fandom didn't have a forum solely dedicated to them yet, but well... we are heading there XD
