I have an rpg addiction, and I tend to doodle a lot in class.
You could always try drawing right before bed, I do that sometimes

Haha, I can't wait for school to start back up. I need to get my education on, aka I just need to draw on some notes to feel better. That and I miss my drawing classes.
And drawing before bed, I've tried before. I draw pretty well when I'm sleep deprived for some reason.

Probably one of my worst habits. I need to just invest in a journal w/o lines to do my notes and doodle for classes. I might try that out of my next semester.
