# About me
My name is Alessandra Hoskins, but my friends call me Allie. (I actually really hate my full name.)I'm currently studying Art with an emphasis in Animation, Digital Media, and Design with a minor in Muic Technology at a tiny university called Eastern New Mexico University. I'm originallly from Albuquerque, New Mexico, but I've always hated it there and was even willing to trade the 1,000,000+ Population of the city for a tiny farming town of 17,000. Anything to get away and spread my wings.
Here are some random tidbits about moi:
My favorite color is Orange
Art is my life. 
I am a very strong believer in the existence of angels. (As you weill see in a lot of my art.)
I aspire to become an animator and work abroad in Japan. I eventually hope to become a rising star in that world.
I'm a writer, an artist, and an improving manga ka. I don't believe in being an artist for the sake of money. I do take a part in commissions to make a little extra money on the side, however, I am strongly against artists who only love art because it puts money in their pockets. I am also a strong believer of the idea that one cannot be a true artist without experimenting and learning from all other forms of art. (i.e. Realism, painting, graphic design, art history, sculpting etc.) My preferred style is anime, and a majority of my art reflects that, however, I am vigorously studying all other forms in hopes to become a better artist all around. My second favorite medium of art is Charcoal, believe it or not. My favorite manga artist is Misaho Kujiradou, the artist and manga-ka for Princess Ai. I don't have a favorite genre of music, nor a favorite song. I love a little bit of anything, as long as it's MUSIC. I love all my friends terribly, real life, and online. 
I am a terrible procrastinator, though a lot of the time I can't get to things right away as I am a full-time student (18 credit hours D: omfg) and I have a job that [I hate with a firey passion] demands my attention.Current Residence: Eastern New Mexico University/ Portales
