Hello. I had a question I'd like to ask you. I'm working on a book right now, however my own artistic skills are no where near good enough to do my own illustrations yet.
So I've been asking people I really love the artwork of here on DA if they would help me out. I can't pay you for your help should you agree, however I'll happily give you full credit of course, and a paragraph or two about yourself in the back of the book in an artist section. If Deviantart tells me it's alright, I also wanted to put the urls of the artists in the artist section as well so that people will gain even more popularity once I'm able to publish the book.
I was wondering if you're at all interested?
If not, I fully understand.
If you are, you can do just one picture, or more if you'd like. Whenever you have the time. Which there will be plenty of. It will be a while before I get to finish the whole book.

it's not random at all, artists are getting more and more devalued and often work below minimum wage despite being highly skilled. so free work or spec work is met aggressively by pros or those wanting to become pros. still you're just a kid, i doubt you knew what you were doing.

Actually, I'm 19, and I was saying the video I was sent was random.
I do actually know what I'm doing. I myself am VERY poor right now, so I thought I might give it a try. I have 18 artists who have agreed so far. And the main premises is to both get my story illustrated, but to gain them more page views and popularity so that more people CAN find them and pay them. I'm just just expecting them to do it for free with no more about it.
And as for being met aggressively, no one has met me aggressively so far. The people who have turned me down have -mostly- said they didn't want to do it because they didn't have enough time. Only one person told me they didn't want to do it just because they didn't like cross dressing characters. None of which I mind. *shrugs* I've had a lot of people agree, and that's good enough for me. ^^
