I'm glad that some people don't think it's weird, I just wanted to do something to remember Bayley( my first dog) by, so whenever I do art and I sometimes feel not good enough in my skills, I remember how he never gave up on fighting his illness, even if it eventually took him and we had to let him go.

So thank you so much for thinking that, it really made me happy

Your welcome. I know how heard it is to.lose a pet. My brothers dog scruffy passed away when I was 13 and my dog lost her entire litter do to a miscarage. It's really sad having to lose someone.

I'm so sorry to hear that about your brothers dog and especially about your dog losing her puppies. That would have been so hard to go through.





I know and you can't help but become so attached to them , that when, it's their time you know you have let them go, but a part of you secretly doesn't want that.

For me it was like I was loosing a really close friend or family member and when it's your first dog or cat, it becomes harder to lay them to rest because the longer you have them the more invested we become.

But I think in someways it's worth it in the end because it teaches us to let go even if it's hard, and to cherish those memories that you've had with them.

I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, because the love and trust they give you changes you and I think in a way makes you unselfish, because having a pet makes you have to care and worry about them, leaves little time for you to worry on the negative things in life and focus on the positive.

I think with Bayley, even if, we had to get him put to sleep we were able to give him an amazing life compared to the shitty one he had in the beginning. I may not know what his first years of life were like but I do know that he was probably a puppy farm dog, inbred, and that was mistreated enough that he lost most of his teeth at a young age, couldn't see very well, and got extremely scared it you tried to trim his paws, to the point of squealing.

Same with around his face. a few years later he became completely blind, and another few years down the track, he started to pee a lot in the house, after a visit to the vet and a few tests to figure out what was wrong with him, he was diagnosed with Cushings disease.

Meaning he had a tumour in his brain and affected his control of his bladder and stomach, which meant he would randomly pee, poo and vomit his food up after eating a few hours before. It got to the point where one morning he threw up really bad, and had no appetite. That was when we knew it was time. That day I was so devastated and traumatised by seeing him get buried.

Now a two an a half years later I have a new dog called Pheobe, whom I got from a proper breeder, at the age of 4 months old. She is a chocolate brown and white miniature labradoodle.

She's so cute! Thanks for understanding. My own cousin I'd usually trying to go up on the scale and make it seam like I'm the one who has it easy just because it's a dog. But to me there not just some animal. There family.
