Regarding My Haitus    I don't know if anyone is asking for this but I am going to say it anyway.
   
    To put this bluntly, my interest in WG art and Deviant Art has declined heavily for a while now. I struggle to find motivation to draw and post here because it just does not feel as fulfilling as it once was. Especially given the fact that most of the WG art I see does not appeal to my tastes much anymore. If find it difficult to see the appeal past the fantasy of it. (Though that may be all there is to it.) Maybe I am just growing out of it. Maybe it's because I have a somewhat stoic personality. I think this is why I had trouble resonating with the community here.
     This is not to say that I will never post again or delete my account, I still like to do WG art for myself on occasion when I am in the mood but since my leave, I have committed to more ambitious personal projects that I find to enjoy more. I have always specialized in background art This is what I have been up to.

OK here goes...

First off, I would study real human figures to understand how proportions work and practice drawing figures. (That's how I practice.) While your proportions are decent, studying human anatomy will certainly help you improve. Second, I am not sure if you did but, the line quality looks very artificial quite possibly due to using too many assistants. It's okay to use line smoothing but try not to go past that. Third, (this is something I struggle with too,) in order to achieve a distinct cartoon feel, you have to choose a thing to exaggerate like expressions or body proportions or whatever you like. Manga characters tend to have very naturalistic proportions and over the top expressions. Cartoon characters have varied proportions that are exaggerated based on their body types. (Example: lanky, big, short, tall etc.) I would work on those areas first. Last, the drawing looks too flat. Try starting the drawing with basic three-dimensional shapes for the foundation next time. It will really make a difference. That is all and I hope this helps.

Just draw what you enjoy most. I draw plenty of regular art as well, but I do not post most of it. If you want to get better at drawing fat girls, just practice.

Thanks! Traditionalists seem to be very rare around. The only other I know is RemRamWaluigi but he also does digital work as well. Just keep on practicing, that's how I got here.
