As I already said there, It's not about that particularly comment on Luca's journal entry, but all the unnecessary self-references. Want more examples?

Jokes apart, about the name "Kaliset", well, I just didn't know how to name it, and it was someone who first propose "Kaliducks", so then I proposed "Kalisets" because later it was a set of many variations of original formula. But to show you I'm capable of receiving critiques, I accept that putting that name was kind of vain of my part, and I even said that in the thread. But as you can see, the first thing I did when I made the post about my discovery (which I don't think is so great, btw), is to give proper credits to the people who led me into this finding. i just thought it was kind of weird to get lessons on modesty from someone who is always inserting his name into stuff. certainly i don't regard myself as a fractal pioneer (yet? maybe that will change with chaotica). i don't want to fight about it, but maybe you can see where i'm coming from at least.

Ok, but "always inserting his name into stuff"? I won't accept that, only for "kaliset"... It was not me putting my nick (not my real name) on others like "Kalibox", "AboxmodKali", other people did it, is it my fault?. I named other formulas SurfaceKIFS, Amazing Surface, DragonKIFS, etc.
I know where you come from, and I respect your work, I just think you don't have to mention it all the time, and that's it... end of discussion.
