# About me

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1992.
From 2011 to mid-2014 I studied Film direction at the Universidad del Cine (FUC) in Buenos Aires. Thus, I have taken part in several short films, in roles ranging from Director to Art Director.
At the same time, I honed my graphic art skills (both traditional and digital) by working as a freelance artist: I've drawn storyboards, logos, comics, posters, packaging, and other promotional materials, as well as concept art.
I am always looking for the creation of new projects that defy what I already know, and make me learn more than I already do. I strive towards excellence -- and, then, I want to go further. All of that, while remaining humble and listening to the advice and opinion of others, because that is the only way to improve and to get the best results out of every project.

Nací en Buenos Aires, Argentina, en 1992.
De 2011 a mitad del 2014 fui alumno en la Universidad del Cine (FUC), en Buenos Aires. Así, he formado parte de varios cortometrajes, en roles que van desde Director hasta Director de Arte.
En paralelo, desarrollé mis habilidades gráficas (tanto tradicionales como digitales) trabajando como dibujante freelance: dibujé storyboards, logos, comics, posters, packaging, y otros materiales publicitarios, así como también arte conceptual.
Siempre estoy tras la creaciónd e nuevos proyectos que desafíen mis conocimientos y me hagan aprender más que lo que ya sé. Apunto a la excelencia -- y una vez allí, a ir más allá. Todo ello manteniéndome humilde y escuchando a la opinión y consejos de otros, porque esa es la única manera de mejorar y conseguir los mejores resultados en cada proyecto.

Well... this answer will come as kind of obvious (and therefore, kinda depressing) but: PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.
Aside from that, I'd say watch a lot of films. Or the same films, the ones you love, a lot of times, until you grasp how they tell the story: what is the best camera angle to convey a certain emotion? How do you create a certain atmosphere with just lighting and perspective on your side?
Study people. Not just anatomy. Watch people in the street, in the bus, in the subway (not in a stalker kinda way, cause that's creepy): how do they sit when they are relaxed? What do they do when they're bored? How do they keep balance when on a bus? What's the expression their faces when they speak to their loved ones on the phone?

It's a lot of stuff to grasp, and I am by no means an expert. I still have lots and lots to improve, and I try to keep doing so every day :) (Smile)
