# About me

Located in Southwest Washington Yvette has been swimming like a mermaid since she was 5 years old, and swimming before she could walk!
Currently has created 2 swimmable tails, 2 retired tails, and one she made for a family member.
Her experiences with many different marine and freshwater animals, including rays, sharks, crustaceans, and more, fascinates her!
Along with being SCUBA and CPR certified Yvette can freedive to +/-20ft and can swim in any environment; rivers, lakes, the ocean, and the common pool

Im still working on my dang koi tail thats taken a millennium to finish haha.
I miss mermaiding tho sadly my oil slick tail is fully retired unless i want to dig it out again.

I know how that is! My turquoise tail will always be a work in progress! lol
I've been good, busy, but hopefully I'll be able to get into my tail this summer! I have missed it alot over the winter!

Yeah i have actually put off mine for meh 2 n half years. I got so busy with everything else and the worst part is my design changed a little bit as to what i want it to look like BUT luckily i haven't painted the tail yet its still pinned an folded on a shelf.
I keep asking my mom for help on it but she refuses to touch it out of fear it will get messed up an i keep reminding her its my first time making my own tail if mistakes happen they happen its no big deal we can always make another. But yeah its a LONG work in progress.
I think i also put mine off because i gained a bit of weight since i last cut out the pattern so im afraid i will have to loose some belly fat to fit into it but its no biggie.
Im glad you're doing good. =D (Big Grin) and i can't wait to see new pictures of your turquoise tail.

Thank you for the thanks. I really liked your Mountain Centaur picture. I do wish she was smiling though. Other than that, I think the subtle transition region between the woman and the horse was excellently done, as if she was a real centaur. Most photomanipulators would simply cut and paste haphazardly. She and your art are beautiful.

ur mermaid tail in the picture is awesome! my mom went to joanns and got swimsuit fabric and made my cousin and i mermaid tails that we swim around in my pool with! its the best being a mermaid!!! my tail doesnt look like urs but it still works but im getting a mono fin for my b-day or christmas :) (Smile)

Thank you :D (Big Grin) i figured i wanted to do something new, like combinding fish together, the only part me an my mom are having problems with is puting the mersurments an everything onto the pattern paper, A mermaid friend from youtube suggested laying down belly flat on the paper an having someone trace your figure all the way down to the mono fin, is that what you did to make your pattern?
