We just got more news yesterday, it's titled "Full Metal Panic! IV" (read as "four" -specifically the English word), is slated for Fall '17, will be animated by Xebec. There will also be a Dancing Very Merry Christmas radio drama, unknown release date. And a new novel tentatively titled "Full Metal Panic! BONUS Ops"

This is depressing news for me, I have a deep seated hatred for Xebec for destroying many of the anime I loved, try as I might they keep disappointing me.
Though this news is good, I have a hard time motivating myself to like it based on the past. 

Love Full Metal Panic! always, and I will watch it, but I am at odds as to whether or not to buy it.

It breaks my heart, how under-appreciated and over-looked FMP is. It really surprises me, some of the stuff people have seen, and yet can have managed to not have heard of FMP... It's a really amazing series, and not all that cult-ish. They had over 12k people on the live stream about the new novel series. I'm sure there would have been tons more who would have wanted on if they knew about it, and I'm sure there were plenty who wanted on, but couldn't make it. 12000 people, one night, 2 hours, got on to watch Gatoh talk about his creation. (And insane me was one of them, even though it started at my 5am ^^)

The new novel series, FMP Another, sold out in just two days! So... Where is my new anime season!? It's loved, dammit, we need the rest! ^_^ *impatient is me*

The novels/manga are definitely well worth the read!! I sent you a message with links to where you can find them, since I don't know that I ought to do so openly. The novels are no longer licensed since Tokyopop held it and went under, but the manga is licensed for English by a company in Singapore. Even though they don't release in the US and don't seem to care about the fan translations, especially since this company is YEARS behind the translations themselves, it's still licensed...

I'm going to start working on translating the side-story Yotamono no Rule, and hopefully I'll finish it within a few months. If I don't, it won't get done, not by me. >.> But, it's a hilarious story featuring AirSoft at Jindai XD I started reading it last night, but didn't get very far. Gotta finish reading it today, then I can start translating. I SHOULD work on the new story, FMPAnother, but I've wanted to read YnR for-freaking-ever, and I'm excited to be able to translate it, FINALLY ^^
