Ugh, work stress is the worst (right after family stress). And I understand that, I get claustrophobic in crowds and it makes my anxiety flare; I've been to anime conventions twice and even though it wasn't work related and should've been fun, I still would panic and freak. It must have been harder trying to work and tattoo in such an environment! Will you be doing cons regularly with your shop?

I've always wanted to go to an anime/comic con, but for now it's just in the dream realm. I think I'll be okay as long as I don't have to perform (draw/tattoo) in front of said crowd! Why did you freak? Were you alone? I noticed you have comic book fanart in your gallery. Have you ever been to a comic con?
I will most likely not be tattooing again, unless it's for friends. Some health related issues just won't let me, and I didn't know them before hand. Turns out I can't keep my neck still for longer than approx 20 minutes without getting a splitting migraine. I didn't know that because I rarely keep still for longer than 5 minutes. Art permits that, tattooing doesn't.
I'm back to freelancing now (starting over, more like). Thank you for the wishes, things are great. Wish you a bunch-load of the same goodness.

I hope you can make it a reality and get to an anime/comic con someday soon! Are there any even on a small scale near where you live? That's pretty much the only reason I went. My first con was Otakon in Baltimore, but it was just for a day to test the waters. And this past summer I made it to a smaller one here in Jersey, only 40 minutes away. They're crazy but fun! I freaked because I'm not good in large crowds, and they are packed wall-to-wall. I'm a self-conscious loner and I got claustrophobic.
Sadly, I haven't gotten to a comic con yet, although nowadays you can find just as much Western comics at anime conventions, too. I think half the cosplayers I saw here in Jersey were DC and Marvel.
Oh man, that sucks having to find out after the fact. Your artwork is amazing and translates well to tattoo designs.
