It's too bad the scanner quality seems not as good, though. Maybe it helps if you put your drawings in a clear transparent plastic sheet and scan them like that. That's what I do with my pencil and pen sketches. And then mess with the contrast and levels (control+L if I remember right) on Photoshop.

One of the problems with my scanner is that a lot of my sketchbook pages don't actually fit into it... so they end up having that shadow on the side. But it's ok, I've bought a fancy pen tablet so I won't be using my scanner much.

hey, i dont think i ever thanked you properly for the watch; you have some pretty awesome stuff there, and i would totally watch you if my inbox was not already too much for me to handle, haha!! (i have a running 5,200 messages which i can only whittle down by 200 on the best of days) so consider this a mental watch, if you would allow the expression

youre very welcome, haha!! i think all you would have to do is go to 'levels' and adjust the contrast; thats normally what i do with my pencil/pen drawings
