My favorite piece you did was the blueberry dragon. ^_^ I had talked with you a year or two ago about if you thought that you would create more fruit dragons and you had said that you had some ideas for others to accompany him. I think you could have some success with creating other fruit dragons and if you ever paint some new ones, I will be sure to collect them all. LOL Anyways, I wish you the best of luck and I will be sure to keep an eye out for your awesome art. ^_^Β

Thank you for your comments. It's been a roller coaster for sure, it has definitely quieted down, and I am in a much happier place. I do miss the KC RenFest. It's been very weird watching all the photos on Facebook being posted from the fest and not being there. But I will stay active online - Facebook is the place I do the best at updating. Though I keep telling myself to update here and Elfwood, a fantasy/sci-fi art site I joined a loooong time ago.

I totally understand but I'm glad you haven't forgotten about the other dragons you came up with. I remember talking to you at renfest that first year you introduced the blueberry dragon. You lit up when I asked if you had some other fruit dragon ideas. I think you mentioned that there might be a pumpkin one. ^_^ Anyways, I look forward to seeing all your fruit dragons when you've got the time to finish them. ^_^

Yes, I haven't forgotten, it's just crazy how time flies! I wish I could make it stop for awhile so I could work on projects and not have to worry about all of the other demands life asks me for. And yup - I do have a sketch for a pumpkin one. ^_^
I'm glad you've been enjoying the coloring pages. I've been having fun drawing them. I've had requests for a coloring book, a coloring calendar... people are all about coloring!

I take it that you gained a lot of inspiration from Amy Brown. Many pieces closely resemble her's. Almost too closelyΒ (the fairy ones among some others). I can tell they are done by hand and are not copied, but I would be very careful to at least credit her artworks as reference or something. (If you have, I apologize as I did not see it). Nice work nonetheless.

Actually no. The artists I've admired greatly in the fantasy and mythology realm are Nene Thomas, Boris Vallejo, and Ruth Thompson.
