# About me
Gerrard Mikelsons is a Great Offley, Hertfordshire (UK), based artist who creates artworks in a wide range of art mediums. Since training at Newcastle University, Australia, he has kept an artist journal in which is recorded observations and to develop ideas to use for major artworks. These sketchbooks are full of small sketches of landscapes, portraits and still-life from the places visited.Gerrard is currently working on developing many of these sketches into limited edition relief prints while keeping the freshness and quality of line and tone seen in each sketch.
Each print is hand printed so they contain individual imperfections found in the original pencil sketches.
