Just got recently fired from my factory job and the threat of being kicked out of my current residence is looming over my head ontop of other expenses, all within a week of my birthday - so GREAT! How about you?

Man, that sucks...hopefully the job choices are better over where you live. I wss lucky to have found my job when I did (July 2011) after two and a half years of unemployment.
I now live in my own apartment *inb4 s**tstorm* and have passed the one year mark of my job. Taking vacation in about a week.

How did you get fired, anyway? You never seemed the type to screw up on a major scale.

I walked out before almost ventilating a coworker's brain with a metal garden hoe. I am glad I left, factory work always drives me nuts, no matter how many times I do it. I am glad your job is working out for you, at least.

Some of my co-workers are clowns, but I'm eternally grateful because it's the only place that gave me a full time job in forever. My advice to you is to stay open to any job that's legal, trustworthy (ie. avoid most work from home and jobs that offer payment by referral) and pays some decent money, even if it's something like janitorial work.
