I checked out that site you mentioned a minute ago and it looks pretty cool so far. It might take some getting used to since I feel somewhat intimidated by the high quality art showcased at the very top and when you click on some submissions, it has its window and nothing else. just 'cuz... hehe oh and did you use the same username for conceptart?
I feel the same way about 2draw, not just the layout but the entire site itself is starting to get dull and boring. Or maybe it's just me. I miss those days too when there were a couple of people that I've gotten to know and would always give me feedback.

Yeah, supposedly many artists already in the profession even post there, that's why the quality of the work is generally pretty high. It was recommended to me by a friend who said if I was actually serious about my concept work being looked at, that I should be posting there instead of DA. I feel intimidated too, but at least I get an idea of my competition and can draw on some of the inspirations from other people's work. And yeah, I should just be Gigandas there too.
I'd say that's the thing that'd pretty much killed the 2draw experience recently. All the fun people have left, or at least the ones that we got to know. I know I really miss people like laurael and DBA. Bah, I hate change sometimes...

Niel!!! Really???! wow, 'cause after that comment I exited the window. I was on Gaia Forums and there were a lot of threads posted on DA art, so I figured I should check my page and see if it's still alive without me LOL Speaking of 2draw, I have not be on that site in almost a year now so I have no idea what's going on... I've been busy with college life. Which reminds me, I have to finish up an essay tonight, and 2 other assignments. I've been stressing about it, so in order to cope for the stress I come on here. I'm doing good so far. I'm still drawing though.

I think I'm in agreement with you. To be honest, when I first heard Velvet Revolver's music I was not happy with it. I guess I was expecting something much more STP. It grew on me, and I guess it's good that Velvet Revolver had their own sound as opposed to being just another STP or GNR. Scott leaving caught me off guard - I mean they recently put out a successful album (one that many people thought they would never see).... but I wasn't very shocked. Its something I could see happening sooner or later, you know? It'll be great to see STP back together again.
