Yes, they take a long time and it's a slow layering process but the results are worth it.

probably 20 years. Always loved drawing since I was a little kid.

fair enough, but have you always been serious about drawing, or did that happen later in life? like, say, suddenly wanted to draw all the time for hours on end.

Hmmmm I think it's more that I always wanted to draw. Never really factored in time that much though. I always want to get up, and get to drawing SOMETHING...I feel like I have to draw or start at least one thing per day. Good question.
