# About me

Alfredo “Freddy” Lopez is a professional artist and illustrator and who was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. His career in art grew from his childhood interest in drawing and an overactive imagination. Fueled by comics, role-playing games and nurtured by a supportive family illustration quickly became his goal. Over time, his art has become recognizable by it’s gritty textured quality. In addition to his work in illustration he has also collaborated with many top names in the comics industry bringing his unique painted style to their line-work. Freddy’s unique visions have worked their way into many areas of popular culture and his work can be seen on everything from comics & games to local galleries.

His client list includes: 5Finity, Rogue Games, Bregent Marketing, Ape Entertainment, Image/Shadowline Comics, Markosia Publishing and others.

I wanted to comment on the Gojira redesign: of course it's far from Godzilla is, but I really like that innovative approach to the origin of its name. Now they can battle over which one is the real "Gorilla Whale" Laughing If you disabled comments because you were afraid of Gojira's fans reaction, then don't worry, I think they'll all appreciate the idea.
