You snuck quietly through the forest, making sure not to make a sound. You looked around, listening carefully. Finally, you heard a yell followed by a crashing sound. No doubt, he was here training again.
You followed the sound to a clearing in the woods, where Midoriya Izuku stood, panting from his efforts. He wiped his chin with his hand.
“Not good enough” he muttered under his breath.
You ducked down in the bushes so that he couldn’t see you as you admired him from a distance. Ever since the day you had met, you were fascinated by Midoriya’s drive and intelligence. You stood silently behind him, knowing that no words you uttered would calm him down. You recalled what led up to this event.
