I think I'm supposed to be writing about myself here... I've already failed miserably at anonymousity (is that a word?) but even so I'm just going to give some info on Grey.
well... I started doodling Grey in pencil in my sketchpad thing a short while before I got a DA account, I named him grey because I often do several light pencil sketches over each other til I find a shape I like, because of this the page would go pretty grey, more so where I was drawing Grey (obviously)...I had no colours to use and no creativity with names so he became known as Grey.
as I started importing my sketches to my computer and adding colour I found that the Grey colour I planned made him look more like a wolf (wolves seem overzealous and too common from what I've seen in the Furry fandom)
Grey then became a brown colour and I think looks better now, but I've stuck with the name for 2 reasons:
Firstly: if you name a child something, you can't go back and rename it willy-nilly, you gotta take responsibility
Secondly: I don't have any better names anyway...
