It may seem absurd but I somehow carry you with me every time I'm out there shooting. At least a piece of me does. And in my mind you never talk about techniques, filters and histograms, but about feelings. Thank you for the fav, thank you for the support and thank you for the inspiration Guy!

That's funny, I've thought about the same thing too, quite recently and quite often too! Fortunately AND unfortunately I don't have people depending on me and my companion is of the same mind. You know what's totally embarrassing though? Whenever the thought came to my mind the next thing that followed was "and what about electricity? How are we going to charge our batteries, mobiles, cameras and laptops?" Pathetic, isn't it?
Anyway, always a pleasure talking to you Guy, hope you had a great and very creative time.

I didn't realize you wrote for Popular Photography. I started reading about the article "Nature Earth Tones* and I saw your name-so sat down and read it. On the part about black and white with raw...When I shoot in raw with black and white mode enabled and then bring the image to the Canon DPP, it allows me to switch back to color without losing anything. But if I bring that into photoshop it's strictly a black and white.

Yeah, I know you told me there was no need to be humble but just a visit here and another look at your work is all it takes really! I love your approach of your subjects, whether it is about the big picture or just a small detail. your attention to light, detail, texture...

No need to be humble! You have some beautiful and sensitive work. I actually grew up by the Mediterranean. Those were simpler times and part of what made me who I am. Be true to who you are and you'll never have to worry about disappointing anyone.
