What's your policy on commissions?
I am currently writing a Sci-fi / fantasy action book, and i'd love some help with some of the vehicles, weapons, and scenery illustrations. I regrettably inform you that I do not currently have the ability to pay you any sum of money for your services, and due to this, I will only ask that, if you'd like, to work on this on the side. I will give you the link to my story in google docs so you can either read it purely for entertainment, or out of genuine interest. My story is very short at the moment, do to school and other limitations, but it is being added to whenever I can find the time and concentration to do so. I would be glad even if you only responded to this message to decline my offer, so please respond to this even if that is the case. I'm sorry if either my story concept, writing style, or e-mail message to you seems immature/childish, but i'm only 15, so I can't really help that.
If you are interested with what I need help with, I have found pictures from various sources resembling my basic concept of the cosmetics, vehicles, and buildings in my to-be book.

Im currently locked pretty deep in fleshing out my own Earth Gate at the moment so I cant really help you out "full time", That being said though, I know how it feels to be working on a huge project alone. If you can provide me something to work from around an Iconic weapon, vehicle or ship (sea or space), for example how the Warthog is an Icon of halo, From your universe, I'd be happy to give it a shot and make it for you.
As for my policy on commissions, Im currently not "open" as other artists say, but I can most certainly help you put together something to put on a cover art or reference sheet. So by all means shoot me a couple of links of your look-alikes from the net and I'll see about making you something unique.
If you have skype, I can even add you there and screenshare the design process, you can make all the inputs and tweeks you like as im working in real time.
I am also sorry to say that I havn't read you're story, Im not much of a reader and never could keep my attention on a page for very long. None the less though, You deserve the hand since you're trying!
