yeah, its not that i want to be mega popular or complimented but sometimes i get depressed over how much time i put into my art and i get very little recognition
im completely self taught, still learning and improving and i think the pureness of my individuality really shows in my pieces
but on the bright side, the lack of views only motivates me to become even better, so its really a healthy thing as well since im a very determined person ^_^

Don't beat yourself up about it. I've seen the same situation with a lot of other artists. And I've come to the conclusion that the real reason some artists on here have more pageviews is because 1. They submit their artwork to groups. Or 2. The subject matter of their art is popular and therefore attracts more peoples attention.
People want to be entertained on this site more than they want to see beautiful art. It's the real reason while Humon is not the most talented but is definitely one of the most popular on here.

yeah thats why i tried a more anime looking style and tried drawing more vocaloids but. . .
i couldnt stay away from my own style for too long, y'know? i love my style a lot, that's me personally

Don't ever change your style to suit the masses. Stick to doing you, and don't worry about the pageviews.
I used to do the same thing and it got me nowhere but stressed.
And it's fine, it's always good to talk to a fellow artist.

So, I've recently finished one of a commission for 2cm @ Gaia online.
I realized that you've been requested from her too; and I was wondering if she ever payed for the drawing you drew..
Because, I've finished the request like 5 days ago or something, and I haven't recieved her payment yet. I'm just kinda worried I've been scammed or something.. ><; I was just wondering.
Do you think you can give me her Email? Because she doesn't seem any active on gaia, And I really need another way to contact her. ;;

she did pay me but i gave her the art AFTER she paid me *something you should do to avoid this situation
it could be that she just hasn't been on gaia because she was only on here and there when i was working for her
as for other contact info, i really dont have anything else than her gaia either, sorry
