Basically, what you need to know:
This is set in the modern world: approximately now. It's set in Japan because I live in Japan. Sebastian was challenged (by proxy) to make a contract with a human in the World within one month-- Ciel (who is living in a boarding school because his only surviving parent (his dad) is busy) accidentally names Sebastian, but does not accept the contract. Stuff happens, *SPOILER*andSebastiandoesnotwinhisbet,Cielturnshimdown.*SPOILER FINISHED* and we pick up where we are.

Wow, being an only child sounds very different. I can only imagine-- but without the squabbling and joking, I suppose I would be rather lonely. But then again, you're probably used to the no-other-ppl-your-age-at-home, and spend more time with friends instead? I'm guessing though. ^^

Yeah it's pretty sweet most of the time, but it does get a little lonely but I always have animals so it wasn't to bad. And that would have been true if my friends lived closer. I did get used to hanging out with people older than me. Plus someone had to take care of a few things. My parents are divorced so it was interesting.
