# About me
Nathaniel Haywood is a born story teller. He is passion driven to make it in to an animation studio and start making history. At a young age he was always around a TV and watched a lot movies like The Goonies and Indiana Jones. His childhood consists of bowls of cereal and the many memorable cartoon shows. He has a deep love for animation movies especially the ones made from Pixar like Toy Story and Up that inspired him to go to art school.He came to San Francisco to study 3D animation at Academy of Arts. Being there for 2 semesters he found the love of drawing and switched his major to illustration. His reason for switching majors was after reading a book called “Two guys named Joe.” written by John Canemaker. He learned about the life of a story artist at Pixar and Nathaniel realized quickly the path he wanted. Since being school Nathaniel is now skilled in foundation drawings that strengthen the clarity of the story he is trying to express.
Nathaniel is half way in to his school year and is eager to face the industry when graduation comes. He wants to land a job at the place that inspires him most, but he is open minded and willing to work anywhere he is needed. He wants to start off as a story artist and work his way up to animation director one day. He wishes to be an amazing director like John Lasseter. There are still years to come but Nathaniel is optimistic as ever.

Favorite Movies: Back to the future 1, 2 & 3, Indiana Jones all of them. I'm Learning to love the last one. All the Pixar movies ever made!!!! Such a huge Pixar fan. Vegas Vacation is a classic one. So much movies i cant even type anymore.
Who i would very much like to meet: John Lasseter!!!! I'm such a huge fan. I would love to have a talk about animation and pretty much everything with him. Same thing for Pete Doctor, and Andrew Stanton.

Dude im so glad your all into your art and concentrating on school. Your stuff is looking really cool. So what you plan on doing after school? haha yeahh..it made me realize what i really wanted to do! I remember being a kid I always said I wanted to be an artist but always thought "artists never make it" but now I have no plan B and Art is just plan A. but yeah man I'm just trying to draw everyday and build a portfolio to become a full time artist and show them in galleries.

That's great man don't let that vision out of your sight. We shouldn't worry about how much we are gonna make or how difficult it is to a find a job. The fact that your doing something in your life that gives you joy while your on this earth is all that matters. I'm more worried about the question What will i leave behind when i leave this world. A great motivator is having a vision board of what your goal is so its in front of you all the time. I put a picture of inside of Pixar studios on my board and photoshoped myself into the studio lmao. That way i can in vision my future and its feel reachable. Sorry i'm rambling dude i just like being a motivator to a fellow artist and friend.
