Hi there!

Welcome to my dA-page! I'm Laura Heinonen (you can call me Hei-La) and I'm a professional artist from Finland. I mainly focus on animal portraits (my favorite subject being horses) but from time to time I venture forth and try different things! I use a variety of different mediums from traditional painting and drawing to digital art.

Thank you so much :) (Smile) . At the moment my favorite medium is colored pencils, but if you had asked me two months ago, I would have said pastels. And few months from now, it can be something completely different. I just love so many different mediums and I go trough these phases where I prefer something over something else and then it changes again.

That sounds a lot like me. I am doing watercolors but lately I'm interested in graphite. Did like soft pastels and colored ink. I may go back to colored ink washes and detailed work, not sure yet.
