Interesting work. Some of your manipulations are actually a little tricky to distinguish from the real thing. My only suggestion would be to match skin textures a bit more. Maybe open your images in Camera Raw and teak some highlights to remove extra shine from elements taken under extra light.

Iβm a self taught amateur doing my best. I seriously see the flaws in the lighting and colors and it drives me nuts. Only itβs limited how much i can do in gimp with image sources with wildly different colors and lighting (angles). The main problem is that moldels are generally photographed with lighting to minimize shadows and flaws while fitness models and BBs are photographed with lighting to exaggerate every bump and crease. Itβs hard (for a total noob like me) to merge it

I never used Gimp but I hear it's a far cry from Photoshop. Too bad Photoshop charges monthly fees to use it now. It's more like rental. But for me, it's worth it. I get a lot out of it.

Well, what can you say. I'm a cheapskate 
Me on the other hand is only messing around every so often when my work gets too frustrating and I need to goof off on my employer's dime. So for right now I guess I will be doing my stuff with one hand tied behind my back.
Maybe I could trick my employer into thinking Photoshop is a necessary software package for me to do my job.
Now that's a thought. That would really make the process of goofing off doubly satisfying.

It's not even a matter of being cheap. Photoshop is an expense nobody should pay for unless it pays off. The payments add up.
