# About me
Sabrina is a Photographer. Proud to be a Pentaxian (using Pentax Camera's and Lenses). I also use some Sony DSLR in my kit as of 2016.My Art
I have a passion for making photographs of the natural environment and I also experiment with macro work. Using a macro lens for both nature and inanimate objects. I enjoy creating art and then making images of it.
I feel that I am a unique and original artist, with an eye and love for nature.
I have been a part of DeviantART for many years so far, and I will continue to be a part of it so long as people like and respect my work.
Myself
I am married and currently living in England, UK. Though I am originally from Wales, UK.
Here is a little background to me - I always wanted to be an actress or an author, not dreams I've given up on, but for now I'm focusing on my art/photography. I love to watch Movies, I couldn't live without Music, and Art is a huge part of my daily life.
My mind operates in images and words, I have tattoos on my skin and am proud of them.
I grew up in the countryside, riding bikes and horses, walking through woods and swimming in lakes. A lot of what you see in my gallery are images taken from my life now as a photographer. I love to share what I love looking at myself, sunsets, landscapes, flowers... And I have revisited 90% of where I went as a child to recapture memories.
I am originally self taught, and was given cameras at a young age to experiment with.
I was lucky enough to have my first Digital SLR at 17, and since then, I have gone from strength to strength and loved experimenting with macro.
My Practice
I really try not to Photoshop my images, the colours you see on the macro and natural works of art are 99% NATURAL. I do have (on my camera I use for landscapes and sunsets) a polariser filter :) which reduces light glare and enhances contrast in colours.
Photoshop is a great tool, the most I will do to an image is perhaps brighten it or darken it, if I was unlucky in my exposures. Sometimes nature can be tricky with light, I need to use a contrast or a brighten to restore the photograph to how I saw it with my eyes. And I obviously add my copyright to each image also.
