# About me

I am a wife, a daughter, and a sister. I am a person.
I'm also a pragmatic Neo Pagan. I believe that religious dogma and/or doctrine that contradicts scientific facts, findings, and Theories should be discarded as outmoded and counterproductive, and that an honest Spiritual path should be individually pursued and mostly grounded in knowledge and awareness of the physical realm we inhabit right now (as opposed to glorifying imaginary realms of Happy and Horror that may or may not actually exist).
We do NOT know if there is anything beyond this life, what we DO know is that we are alive, right now, and that's what's important.
I have come to the conclusion, based upon my observations of the many religions of the world, that Gods are cultural explications of what man perceives to be Divinity; the energy that flows through, inhabits and fuels all things.
I think this omnipresent energy is about as conscious of us as we are of each of our individual white blood cells, which is to say, if it has an Awareness at all, It is so gargantuan, so strange, and so far beyond the scope of our own limited, miniscule individual perceptions as to render It incomprehensible to our understanding is it now stands.
But anyway, enough about religion. I always end up sounding like a pretentious dill-hole whenever I talk about religion, so moving on.
I think our current system of government is broken. It has been so far compromised and corrupted by corporate interests and monied lobbyists as to render it almost completely ineffectual. And I say 'almost' because Law Enforcement is still very much operational, insofar as it is used to bully, intimidate and suppress the unruly masses of no-account hippies who dare stand up and say they're not ok with their increasingly apparent state of disenfanchisment.
