# About me

I always had a great passion for games. Since I was a young child I played on my dad's 386. Nowadays I mainly play pc games like GTA series, COD MW2 and starcraft 2. I started doing 3d in the summer of 2006. I began with following tutorials from the web and making simple scenes in 3ds Max. In 2008 I joined my first UT3 modteam and from februari 2009 till november 2010 I was on the the Warm Gun as an environment artist.

Currently I am retraining myself towards a programmer/technical artist using voice recognition software.

Ik studeer Industrieel Ontwerpen aan de Universiteit Twente. Ik ben momenteel bezig mijn bachelor te halen (ben inmiddels 4ejaars).

Mijn 3d skills heb ik vooral in mijn vrije tijd geleerd, dus niet via een opleiding.

if its a payed job (freelance/parttime) im interested in doing work for you. If its non-payed i'm not interested as i have a lot up my sleeve already and am happy with the Warm Gun team im currently in.

It is unpaid. Everyone likes mods but most mods dont lead to money :( (Sad)

Well like i said, im happy with the current team im in so unfortunately i cant help you. I think most artists like to work on mods as they can work with the newest technology that comes with commercial games like normal maps, SSAO, paralax, radiosity-like lighting and so on. Also, with UDK going free, mods are a step closer to being published as indie games. But both mods and indie games have a hard time these days getting retail. Nevertheless i wish u best of luck with your game and u can always contact me when u do get funding.
