Thank yooou! I graduated in a Graphic Design program, but sometimes I feel that I lack fundamental artistic skills. So I figured that a College would be a good opportunity to focus and improve my overall skills. Plus, Canada is an awesome country!

To be honest, I took Art Fundies as well as Independent Illustration and I feel that the Art Fundamentals was suuuper helpful for building up my technical skills. I was a little punk kid when I went in who hadn't done a day of life drawing and by the end of the two semesters, I had already improved a ton. I feel the first two semesters of the ILU program had a similar learning curve, but then the third and fourth involved a lot of very long, open-ended projects that I didn't find that well matched for my learning/work style. It's hard to judge a program, just because people will have such different learning experiences! I made a great group of friends there and liked the majority of my profs, so it's also a good way to make work connections.
