I see! I've been busy with school work as usual. I haven't drawn a serious picture in a long time, but I guess that can wait.

Fine! Just needed to get out of here for a lot of reasons. 'Business' are busines, you know... heh,
And, by the way, thanks a lot for the watch! Seriously!
Keep your artistic art style very good as you do! ;D
See ya!

Haha..I know what you mean. I've been extremely inactive on DA myself. I check my deviation inbox once in a while, but I haven't been leaving comments like I used to.
No probs!
And thank you!

Sadly, in my case wasn't the same thing: you know, I TOTALLY erased my old profile... was I sick or what!? ._.U
I was totally busy about taking new contact with the new world of the university. I mean: so many BIG changes in my life. Even I had some serious several personal problems, but... never mind, now I'm fine.
I always wished to come back here, and I felt so blessed thanks to you and all the rest of old 'pals I made here remembering me, welcoming me here again and with such happiness never imaginated. I was very afraid if some of you would not like to give a word to me because I simply dissapeared with no reason... I didn't say anything about it. But I'm so glad you are not like dissapointed right now (what the hell, of course you were in those mysterious moments, but now I'm just explaining why, I must tell you the truth after all...) and you're glad to see me here again,
Seriosuly, I thank all you for being like my best friends I've ever made in Internet, xD Seriously, thanks a lot!
See ya and best wishes for all you!

Don't blame yourself. We all have our reasons for doing things. Sometimes life just demands our immediate attention, making hobbies and socializing with our friends very difficult. *nod* We're glad to have you back safe and sound though!
And of course! We're all here for ya!
Best wishes for you as well!

I did everything except for a reproduction of one of your drawings, the kissing pose, death note, and tag.
Are you finished with your side? I've been really busy lately. I'll be free to draw after finals, which isn't until about another month. Dx Sorry!! >_<
How've you been?
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-04-12 14:06:57 +0000 UTC]
No, I'm not finished, either, so it's fine.
Don't worry about it, focusing on your finals
is far more important, for now. xD
I suppose I've been well. I started trying
to jog at least 3-6 miles a day to prepare
for the military, but I guess it was too much
for my previously inactive body, and I've hurt
my knee. /: How about you? Anything interesting
going on?
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-04-12 14:53:48 +0000 UTC]
Ouch. I'm really sorry to hear that.
3-6 miles sounds intense even for someone who exercises regularly. Good luck though, and take it easy! =O
Nah, not really. Other than lots of papers, projects, things to study for and way too much procrastination, nothing much is going on. I've been playing Facebook games in between paragraphs I read and sentences that I write. xD;;

miles regularly, I think..
Sounds tough! Good luck, though!

InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-04-12 15:16:44 +0000 UTC]
That's crazy. I wish I could do that. xD I'd be a much healthier person. I can hardly run one block. *cough* How well have you met your goal, by the way?
Thanks!
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-04-13 00:57:32 +0000 UTC]
I know, right? I wish I'd taken track in school or
something. I never anticipating needing to run. xD
How well have I met my goal? As in fitness? Well
I know the test consists of 4 sections at the end of
boot camp- running, push ups, sit ups, and pull ups.
For females, to graduate minimum you need to be
able to run 1.5 miles in under 14:21(11:57 for males),
do 27 push ups(45 for males), do 50 sit ups(also 50
for
males), and no pull ups(I think the reason for the
gender requirement difference is because women tend
to have shorter legs and weaker arms, which is why
the sit up amount stays the same.)
Oh, but there are also written tests on things like
history, etiquette, etc.
The requirements I listed are only to graduate with
the status of "Liberator", there are two other two
other categories with tougher requirements--
Thunderbolt, which is like graduating as an honor
student, and Warhawk, which is much more highly
regarded. Right now I can run well enough if I'm
on a treadmill, but not nearly well enough if I'm
actually outside. (well, not right now thanks
to this knee, but you know)
I can do about 10-15 push ups, and 20-30 sit ups(as
long as my feet are pressed to the floor. I think
during the test, they won't be, in which case I have
a loong way to go.) Man, I hope my knee heals soon!
I need to keep going or I'll never get out of here!
I think the physical portion of the graduation
requirements are about the same in the navy and air
force, but I would never be crazy enough to join the
army! You need to be able to do like, 80 push ups
and sit ups in under 2 minutes, 15 minute 2 mile run,
40 minute 5 mile run, 5 hour 16 mile hike, etc. @_@
I'm not looking forward to the inevitable weight gain,
though. The meals you eat are apparently like
3000-4000 calories each.
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-04-14 14:02:36 +0000 UTC]
I see! When is the test?
I hope your knee gets better soon too!
As for the weight gain, I think you'll be doing daily workout to balance out the calorie intake. In any case, I think any weight gain is a natural response to the exercise you'll be doing. Good luck! You can do it!

That's okay. I'd like a picture of Nakoruru, an Ainu character from Samurai Shodown who loves nature above all else. (You can draw her in whatever pose you want.)
Here are some pictures of her: [link]

pick something else.

Of course! And don't worry about it, I already drew it. I hope you like it when you see it. I remember I drew it according to your description of their relationship, so hopefully it's not too OOC.

Ahh(to your tumblr quote) I absolutely
adore "a dream within a dream" I didn't
get it the first couple times I read it, but
after I thought about it I liked it a lot.
I thought the first stanza fit me well,
particularly the line
"You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream"
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-03-04 22:17:38 +0000 UTC]
I've actually never read the poem myself so I had to look it up. I'm not quite understanding it myself either particularly the second stanza, but poetry usually takes a while for me to fully absorb. I like the idea of "a dream within a dream" though. I actually once dreamt that I was dreaming and it was about something really pleasant. I don't remember what it was, but I was disappointed by the fact that not only was it a dream, but a dream within a dream. xD

yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-03-05 05:09:41 +0000 UTC]
I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it
becomes quite profound, though, and I have
to think about the dream for hours. Other
times, not so much. But I feel like I fully
understand the poem, now. It's best to
figure these things out for yourself, rather
than have others explain it, because then it
becomes a mechanical reaction others have
programmed into you.
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-03-05 14:12:08 +0000 UTC]
Yup. I do the same thing as well. My time spent on thinking about the dream depends on how big of an emotional impact it had on me. And that's true. I think things like poetry and dreams are open to a wide variety of interpretations. There's no one right answer. We should believe what works for us.

yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-03-15 00:30:46 +0000 UTC]
Sometimes I write them down, but since the
data on my computer is frequently deleted,
I lose them a lot. Speaking of Poe and dreams,
I had a dream about "The Raven" one time..
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-03-15 02:28:29 +0000 UTC]
That's interesting. I've never dreamt of poetry before. Did it happen randomly, after you first read it or thought about it again?
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-03-15 03:38:21 +0000 UTC]
I remember I read it before I went to bed,
but that doesn't usually happen when I
read something before going to bed. Well,
I was reading that particular poem fairly
frequently at the time, I guess...

(replying to tumblr)
Yeah, but I'd think if I were going to have two files
I'd have one for 10a and 10b, rather than something
as insignificant as a few items or a weapon...
Me, either, until this week. I didn't get incredibly far
when I was playing before, and a few days ago I
started over. So many of the female characters are
so cool...

InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-02-24 14:26:37 +0000 UTC]
It's your choice. FE has an incredible replay value. Even for the ones I "finished" I doubt I fully finished them. Which character do you like best?
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-02-24 16:08:34 +0000 UTC]
I can't decide which character I like best..
I really like Ekhidna, Milady, and Wendy's
characters, but Wendy's defense and movement
are so bad and Ekhidna wasn't really growing,
so I don't keep either of them on my team.
My strongest characters are undoubtedly the
magicians. I really like Dorothy, Geese,
Shin, Sue, Fir, Thany, Dieck, Rutger, and
basically everyone else...
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-02-25 02:05:45 +0000 UTC]
I remember I neglected to train Wendy intentionally 'cause of her poor starting stats. Ordinarily, that'd motivate me to train the character more but her movement usually kept her from reaching the enemy fast enough. Eventually I stopped bringing her at all. I really like Dorothy and Fir. Rutger's pretty cool too, but for some reason he can't dodge well in my file so he always ends up getting hit. That's especially bad since his HP doesn't go up that much despite level ups. FE6 has the most playable characters out of all the FEs I've tried. I ended up leaving lots of characters untrained for that reason. My strongest characters were also the magicians. (Lilina and Hugh were a pretty deadly team in my file. They dodged most attacks too!)
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-02-25 03:17:39 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I like the armors, but I never use them
because I like movement. So I use like Thany,
Tate, and Milady a lot, even though flying
people used to die really easily. And really?
I usually use Rutger in the front lines
because he like never dies(and the high
critical rate). I don't really use Lilina
except for the fact that she attracts
bandits to join the group. I usually
put Lugh and Ray. I'm still only like on
chapter 16.
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-02-25 15:52:54 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I don't really use the knights and generals too much either. I mean, they'd make good meat shields but they're usually too slow and get left behind all the time. I make sure I don't get too carried away with moving my flying units. They usually get surrounded unless if they're on mountains. (But that's unless if the map doesn't have too many flying enemies.) Yeah, I had Rutger in the front lines for a while but then realized that he can't really survive all the attacks. He does criticals every other turn, it seems, but he usually doesn't make it out alive so I keep him somewhere in the middle of the group.
I usually put the lords and cavaliers in the front. Good luck with the rest of it~
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-02-25 18:13:51 +0000 UTC]
Generally I try to keep it in order of
1. Characters who don't die(Dieck, Rutger, etc.)
2. Weakest characters(thieves, bowmen, etc)
3. Most powerful(magic attackers, horse people)
4. Plain characters(Roy, mostly, and better bowmen)
5. Healers who don't use magic attacks
Of course, the order doesn't really stay in
order as they fan out and I try to get support
conversations.
And thanks! Do you know which patch for FE4 is
best? I've heard there are a few and that some
are horrible.
π: 0 β©: 1
InspirationDruid26 In reply to yusr [2011-02-25 20:34:02 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I know what you mean. I usually draw out an organization plan for my characters based on their strengths and weaknesses, but then eventually they go out of that order for various reasons like surprise enemy ambushes, support conversations, etc.
[link] This is the FE4 patch I use. It's pretty good since most lines and menu options are translated. What sucks, though, is that the ending isn't translated. I was SO disappointed. And I worked so hard to get to the end too. Dx I'm not sure if there's a fully translated patch though. I haven't played the game in a long time.
π: 0 β©: 1
yusr In reply to InspirationDruid26 [2011-02-26 02:08:21 +0000 UTC]
Thanks! I think there are some sites
that have the translation written out, and not
patched, and there's probably one with the
ending.
