Hello, Jacqueline. I saw a video of a girl talking about the mix of Biology and Art and started googling about her. Instead of J. Dillard (just like the name I saw on the video), I saw JacquellineRae on deviantArt. I don't know whether both of you are the same person or not, but I have to admit that I admire your artworks!
I want to be like you too, getting involved in Biology illustrations and so on. Nice to meet you, Jacqueline!

There is a good chance that the video you saw was of me! My full name is Jacqueline Rae Dillard and I was interviewed at my undergraduate university because I had several illustrations published in scientific journals while I was attending school there.
I am SO happy that you are interested in scientific illustration! It is an awesome career choice for anyone who is both artistically gifted and inquisitive about the life sciences.
I wish you luck in both biology and illustration! Please keep in touch- I'd love to see what you end up doing with your talent

Why thank you! I really love Vincent Price so I put a lot of thought and work into that drawing. I've actually been watching a lot of Christopher Lee movies lately and I'm considering doing a portrait of him soon too
