Ah, UD, to be young and healthy and fit.. Damn, age sneaks up on you and then boom you realise you are not the same person you were 10 years ago... I'm still recovering from the back surgery but though I feel bruised and buttered I'm beginning to be able to walk better.. I'm still very weak but am making progress.

I think if we all are honest with ourselves, we can admit there is already enough suffering and pain in the world. Why then do we perpetuate that. Has our species not suffered enough. We are so cruel to our own. How can we expect to take care of our planet when we can't feed our babies, or the mothers or the fathers of those babies. When we send our young men to war. When we expect our daughters to confine their hopes and dreams to path circumscribed by duty and perverse expectations. If only we could decide that whether we think or feel we have the strength or not. If we couple decide to turn that tide around and begin creating more peace and compassion in the world. If not before long there will be no species to call our own. There will be no more babies or sons or daughters or wives or husbands or fathers or mothers. There will only be a planet with a loosened atmosphere that has become a grave. An unknown grave in an unknown and unreckoned Galaxy in an unknown quadrant of an unknown Universe. Our sentience is Truely a blessing but if we don't take it to the conclusion that supports and sustains life, it will all be for nought. Love yourself, but love your neighbor and those near you. Life is short and it is fragile and cruel. Don't let a day pass without recognizing those around you. Before long you will look back and find you have ever and always been alone. But this is not a foregone conclusion. it is a choice.

Do we give up hoping? Does a parent in a war zone who has young children but is on the wrong side of the fence give up? I'm sure many do. But for every one that does, there are a few determined, desperate and determined enough, to do whatever it takes to find a way to carry the children to safety. I reckon for each of us that is alive today, that there were people in our lives, perhaps a previous generation or generations, but those who were determined not to succumb to history and the tides of hatred, ignorance. war, pestilence, poverty, disease, corruption.... We owe them.. For they carry us today whether we acknowledge that reality or not,

Thank you all.. Yes, surgery on Monday took a lot out of me.. But am getting it back little by little.. Already noting benefit to my legs and will have to work hard to get my muscle strength back but I am pleased thus far.

My friend, I want to do a remix of Jeremiah works (jeremiahkauffman.deviantart.co⦠) but all the works I do I feel that I betray the original feeling I have with them. When june finish I will send more. This is one I have: Creature jeremiahkauffman , made from bits of his work.
I think that you can give more life to the piece I did. What do you think?
