# About me

Born in 1976 I was a child of the STAR WARS generation. My early memories of sci-fi were BLAKE'S 7, DR WHO, SPACE 1999 and various other shows of the late 70s and early 80s. I can remember my birthdays and Christmases by the various STAR WARS stuff that I got for them. RETURN OF THE JEDI was the first STAR WARS film that I saw at the cinema, a year later I saw STAR TREK 3: THE SEARCH FOR SPOCK. These films sparked my fascination with design asthetics, the meaner or sleaker something was the more I liked it, early favs were Speeder Bikes and TIE Intercepters. At the age of 9 I had a religious experience, I watched ALIEN and the visual perfection of the film made me want to climb inside the TV and explore the sets. In awe of it's perfect form I fell in love with the xenomorph. The artists that have influenced me are: HR Giger, Ron Cobb, Andy Probert, and Ron Thornton. My goal in life is to be a conceptual designer in the entertainment industry. To make money from coming up with spaceships and monsters is my idea of a perfect job.
