You forgot something on your deviantID. . . You are probably the most intelligent person any of these people will ever have the pleasure of talking to.

Bwah hah haaa, you found me
I still think this is a horrible place, albeit useful for feedback purposes (hence very little [if any] "browsing").

Hey! welcome to Army of Helaman! I noticed that you're a computer science / computer engineering major too! that's cool! but I'm not taking it from the U. Though I'm sure U of U would look better on a resume than party school WVU it's I'm not sure about that major right now, though because I'm not big into electrical stuff even though I have plenty of experience with taking computers apart.

Thanks for the welcome! To be quite honest -- I'm prolly going to drop the CE part of my major 'cause it's really tough stuff! Or maybe its just my professor ... I'm sure sooner or later you'll have to take a class that uses the Patterson and Henesy Computer Organization and Architecture book. If you like that class you're good to go! Me ... I want so badly to like that class, but it hurts a lot. I may switch the CE to EE, but I'll see after I take Elec. Engineering 2000. If I only knew what I liked, now that'd be something! But I suppose that takes away the self-discovery portion of college.

I know what you mean! I'm not so sure about this CE right now... I may switch to just CS, but everyone and their dog has a CS degree... I guess I'll wait and see if I like it, lol! What does UofU offer for related graduate degrees? do you know? maybe I'll transfer out there, lol, and really disappoint my parents because I chose not to go to BYU, hehe.

I completely understand the CS-only dilemma, which is probably one of the stronger reasons for sticking it out in CE. This is my oh-so-limited understanding of the U's graduate programs. Basically there is a Computational Engineering and Science graduate program with an added emphasis in one of 7 categories of your choice. (Graphics and Visualization, Virtual Environments, Systems and Programming Languages, (Architecture, VLSI, and verification methods), Scientific Computation, AI and Robotics, and Educational Software Environments) BYU has its ... ummm ... cosmetic?- perks, but as far as I know, the U has a better CS program in general, although BYU has a better robotics (and possibly hardware) program.

yeah, my dad got his mechanical from BYU, but I've always heard that U has a better science program. I was thinking about going to the U back when I lived in utah.. but that was in the 8th grade so I really didn't care. I just know that if I'm going to get something beyond a masters, I want to get it somewhere I little more prestigious than WVU. I discovered yesterday that I don't need to take calc 3 and 4 for CS... so I was like, what? why am I taking them then? so I think I'll be going for the Dual major anyway because calc's my thing ... well, not calc four

Thanks for adding me too
I'm using Poser 4 to render out the images. I have a bit of an advantage because I work for a 3D company, so I have free run of the stuff they make, and I get to modify it to do what I want
