Conversationally for anyone reading this:  Mireille and I had a conversation about this, and I believe we came to an understanding.  

The short version is that the last couple of years have been very difficult and busy, and I have not had time for anything personally creative since then.

I am totally shitty for bailing out on Mireille and the other people who I owe art.

But it is very difficult to have your life flipturned upside down.  It becomes very easy to say "I'm running behind.  I'm very tired from everything that happened today.  I'll feel better tomorrow, and I'll do my work then." ... and that happens day after day after day until you just stop thinking about 'that work' because it makes you feel so terrible, but you don't feel up to working on it (and somehow, after months, 'that little work' becomes 'an insurmountably stressful task' and it becomes harder and harder to start it.

I'm not really trying to make an excuse.  I was bad.  I am bad.  But I'm...  working on getting better.

AS I said, Mireille and I spoke about it for a bit, and as soon as things calm down  (as, things have Changed Very Suddenly All At Once again... but mostly for the better  (the short version for the curious, is I have 3 less roommates, 2 more rooms in my house, 60% more bills every month, 1 house that I'm trying to rearrange, and the husband is looking at some Serious Job Changes that might Change Everything in the next few months.  ...These are either REALLY GOOD changes that makes EVERYTHING better or very awful changes that make everything more difficult.  But getting the answer to this is something we've been waiting for for 5 years, so whatever happens, it will be a relief.)

Er, what was I saying?  oh yes.  As soon as things settle down a bit with the house, hopefully, I will make for her the art that I have owed her.

At that point in time, I also plan on posting a journal about it so that anyone else who I owe art to can step up and ask for it as well.

I did a bad thing.  I do not intend to stay bad.

...on a side note, I have not accepted points, money, or art since  June 2012 (assuming my points log is accurate)   ...I have ASKED for people to draw snowdrift for me as recently as December 2012 (I think.  That may have been a random gift?)   but I have not accepted money or currency (including art) of any sort for about 3.5 years.

It's no problem. She's been stealing me and my friend's OCs for a long time now as well. It really annoys me that she turned your OC into a super huge Mary Sue, considering yours looks so nice She openly calls her "OC SnowDrift" a whore and stuff, too. It's wrong that she stole your character, but the fact that she does that to it is beyond horrible.

I am really bummed that she made her a whore too.  I don't get the appeal in that.  :C  You can play romance without being whorish. :C

But thank you for telling me...  I hope she'll take stuff down soon...  or at least change a bit!  It's not too hard to make good OCs!

I know, but she's been making characters like this for years and hasn't gotten better, so.
Yeah, it's not hard to make good OC's, nonetheless have nice romances going along with them, but really.
It's no problem! And it's fine, kinda, at the moment. Most she does is try to ruin ships by trying to break them apart by "seducing" ((Aka shoving her boobs in their face and saying she's better than my OC's and that the OC is a whore/slut/some other insult)) the male. Kinda sucks, but it hasn't worked at all. She's kinda dwindling her attempts, but then again, each time she doesn't get the guy, she tries to kill my OC for "getting in her way", so. 
I love your work, though! The sprites are beautiful and smoothly animated.

Thankfully it looks like they took all the stolen art down once I brought his theft to everyone's attention. It's no problem. I hate to see other's characters and art get stolen. It's just such a horrid experience. Hope you have a wonderful night!
